Can someone guide me the DSL parameters required to support 40mbps ( Airtel v-fiber with HG630a Router)

1. Downstream SNR
2. Upstream SNR
3. Downstream line attenuation
4. Upstream line attenuation
5. Any other parameters ?

my DSL parameters Value are as below

Line standard VDSL2
Downstream line rate (kbit/s)17106
Upstream line rate (kbit/s) 960
Downstream SNR (dB) 10.9
Upstream SNR (dB) 10.4
Downstream line attenuation (dB) 28.5
Upstream line attenuation (dB) 14.2
Downstream output power (dBmV) 14.4
Upstream output power (dBmV) 4.1
Downstream CRC 0
Upstream CRC 0
Downstream FEC 4526
Upstream FEC 3

Will the above parameters support 40mbps ??

the line rate seems to be set for 16 mbps so no

Yes at the router, however at Airtel equipment end speed is set to 8mbps only.
That is why I want to make sure the line parameters support 16mbps and then tell Airtel
to upgrade the speed at their end.
i am looking for clarity on whether the current SNR/Attenuation ( upstream & downstream) etc is good enough to carry 16mbps downsteam speed.

Here are my DSL Line status on a 40 Mbps connection & everything works absolutely fine on these stats. Hoping this is what you were looking for.

Dsl Mode VDSL2-17A G.Vector FDPS AnnexB
Operational Status VDSL2 AnnexB

Upstream Speed 10000 kbps
Downstream Speed 44955 kbps

Max Attainable Up 12053 kbps
Max Attainable Down 74264 kbps

Upstream Out Power 1.5
Downstream Out Power 14

Attenuation Down Stream 18
Attenuation Up Stream 22
SNR Margin Down Stream 17.9
SNR Margin Up Stream 10.5

Thanks Madhu....Still I am not sure what are the recommended values for SNR Upstream, SNR downstream, Attenuation downstream , Attenuation upstream to support 40mbps

There are no min recommended values as it varies from place to place. However, still for your reference, these are the min values for a 40mbps connection that I have seen to work effectively.

SNR UP/Down : 10dbm
Attenuation less than 25dbm
Loop length less than 600m

and most important, the line should have enough power to sync min at 60mbps down and 10mbps up.
