A Baleno RS owner gave his car for second service to a Maruti Suzuki service centre in Bengaluru and this happened:

Know the family which runs the dealership. Would not be surprised if all responsible people were sent home permanently.

My recent Car Service at Maruti dealer after 2 years which was also first Paid Service, I noticed that car had travelled almost 8 KM as meter reading was increased by 8 KM before and after servicing.
I even asked them when I got call for feedback. They immediately made Service Advisor to call me. He said that since I had asked for wheel alignment, they need to test drive for long distance to see if everything is alright. They also said that they took test ride twice. So it may have 8 KM distance covered. I said its ok, but I will make sure next time as well if they really need 8 KM ride.
When I took car back, I also took test ride, which was hardly 1 KM.
