Banks challenged in high court by a beggar for not accepting coins

it's a real problem. shopkeepers do not even take rs. 10 coins. real ones. because they are not accepted by banks.

Rs. 10 coins not being accepted? I haven't faced any issues either, I use them regularly without once being turned down by shopkeepers.

the problem is the large number of fake coins in circulation and banks refusing to accept them when you go there to deposit.

Seems like related to that fake whatsapp shit floating round the Rs. 10 coins, the fact is that both are real and legal

I have infact tendered both the ones with the Rupee symbol and without and never once has anyone refused either of them. Guess I have been lucky so far not to encounter an idiot shopkeeper. But yeah, dumbass shopkeepers may keep giving the excuse that banks don't accept them.
