nice picsone thing i didn't understand mumbai must be dumping its drains in the seathen why didn't the rain water just flow into it
 
heard abt tides? the water sometimes flow out of drains coz the sea pushes it back in...
 
well most of the affected places are low lying areas.....like the Mumbai suburbs mainly Nariman point, Fort n all were not effected.besides mumbai has no good drainage system for even normal rains.its a shame that even after 50 yrs + of our independence we still suck in terms of infrastructure.
 
drains? think abt places with no roads, no water and power supplies, no schools? mumbai atleast has iMax 😉
 
well, with the no. of flyovers they have, i think everyone can take refuge there 😛just kidding!!!
 

yeh rains were tooo heavy water rached about half my height plus no electricity 🙁 .. i am lucky that i am not living in ground floor 😛
