On Airtel ₹399 4G plan (1gb/day, Unlimited Incoming+Outgoing, 84 days)

However I'm unable to make any calls :/
It just ends abruptly the instant I dial someone.
Balance in myAirtel app shows ₹0 and 0gb data remaining, but I assumed this isn't relevant to me because my Internet still works. I'm Roaming though, are Outgoing Roaming calls not covered in the plan?

I don't believe roaming calls are covered with this plan. I have seen roaming charges (both incoming and outgoing), while on similar plans (1GB/day for 28 days) on Airtel

Recently roaming benefits were added to unlimited calling pack. Also the price of these packs have drastically increased

Instead of 399 now this for 509 inclusive of unlimited roaming outgoing.

399 doesn't include roaming calls, for that you should have done Rs.448 recharge.
No worries you can still do monthly roam like home pack which cost around Rs.52.
Call 121/198 and ask about exact amount for your circle.
