Connection Problems

When I switch off the modem and then power on it it is taking long time for the connection to get established. I contacted the exchange and they told there is no problem at their end. Is it a common problem? I think I should not power off the modem from morning.
 
Yes it is a common problem experienced by me .So what i do is i leave the modem switched on for the whole day and switch it off only in the night.
 
i never switched off my modem since i got the connection ....and i never loose the SYNC ..... ALWAYS ON 😀
 
Even my Modem at my house is left on all the time. The one at office is put on in the morning and shut off at night before the places closes.I face no problem with my UTStar modem of the nature u mention.
 
When i dont switch off the modem for a day it gets burning hot and thats the reason i switch it everytime in the night
