Recently got auto-updated to Sify version 2.8. Guess what my Outlook in my office LAN stopped working. Its a problem with some setting in my LAPTOP which the update automatically did.

Nothing to do with my Exchange Mailbox as it is accessible with the other system not having Sify Client.

I am quite anovice & thought you could help,

making u'r bband.ini file read-only does work. You also need to delete the whole line in
the file containing the update url. i still use version 2.5, without being forced to update to ever-increasing size of the bloatware that is the crappy client.

Guys,

I am facing a similar problem 🙁 i.e. after installing the ver 2.8 the outlook in the office stopped working.

However I am unable to find version 2.5 on the net.

Could one of u pls send the same across to me on my e-mail address i.e.
