I could not keep my curiosity about the usb ports bottled up too long so I called the CC, according to them the USB ports will be used for video conferencing when that becomes available. SO, it seems, the USB ports would be used for inputting from the web cam kind of thing....Well does that mean that the digital camera input can be made to work ?

BSNL IPTV STB is AmiNET125.

This STB has USB 2.0 Output. The STB spec mentions that it supports 'Ruckus wireless USB adapter'.

Where must the USB OUT of STB go?

straying from the topic a bit, but has anyone tried yet by using the video-in input on the pc via graphics card or a tv tuner card. what is the quality of the stream we get with that..😱

The manual clearly says that the two USB ports are optional and are for connecting mouse and keyboard.
As the www.icontrol.com(official MTNL IPTV site) suggest that in future they will launch internet gaming and internet browsing thru STB on the TV.
