Hello, I am in slump here. I can't seem to find any reliable help. We are a business running in two cities in India. Our accounting software requires us to have 'shared folders' (like we do using LAN) for access. Now, I know how to connect computers in the same area using LAN or WiFi but I am not able to find how to share computers across cities (WAN?)
I have heard that we can get static IP address on all the machines we want to share and then configure them. Is it possible? Do we need to have same ISP (Bsnl?) at both the location? Please guide. I will really appreciate.
