Netflix begins directly peering with large Internet exchange in India - MediaNama

This is good news! 😀

My ISP Honesty Net Solutions is in the list of MumbaiCH Members and I am getting around 31.9Mbps peering speed while streaming Netflix.

Netflix now connects to c002.bom002.ix.nflxvideo.net instead of c015.sin001.ix.nflxvideo.net in which bom002 I assume means Bombay.

Have never seen fast.com show more than 7Mbps on my 10Mbps line.

The peering seems to be gone as of few days now. Netflix now connects to a Dubai based server instead of Mumbai. Can anyone in Mumbai check?
