TRAI defines broadband as 256 kbps always on internet connectivity
Govt expects Broadband to be made available @ Rs 500 to Rs. 800 per month

Dont get happy yet,., this is india.. companies will stretch this and dont even dare too expect SIFY to come with such an offerThey must be like enjoying soo much the way it is now, s*cking money from poor costumers... and i bet some big fat @$$ old guy,Sify's chairman is sailing around the world in his 1 crore boat...This kind of information gives fake hope i think

i just hope they just dont convert all packages to hourly or data transfer based packages. i am myself waiting for airtel broadband to come...
