I am guessing it would be harder to fire people for their social activity in a country like USA. But it is still impressive that a UAE based company fired an employee for his activity on Facebook. Indian companies might want to adopt a similar approach. That alone could clean up the filth on the internet by a few percentile. Though I guess only idiots abuse through social media using their personal details.
