You have to enclose the IPv6 address in square brackets else the browser will just use it as a search result input 🙂 Not sure about why the "not secure" message is coming, maybe your SSL certificate is not fully configured for IPv6 address - I think typing in the website name worked.

every isp has some back drops if you dont want to pay 2500/year go for bsnl ftth connection which costs 2700 for 50 Mbps and200 gb fup now see act chargess 1208 for 60 Mbps and 200 gb fup you have pay 250/munth or 2500/year but stil act cheep

think before shouting out in the forroms that one thing or the other is not working because you are the one who opted for cheper isp not they have asked to come and join their isp that is your mistake doing a commertial work and not going with bigger players you have fase the problems so think wisely before choosing your next isp

Thats because the certificate is issued for the domain name and not the IP.

2607:f298:5:104f::c2a:39fe uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: broadbandforum.co, www.broadbandforum.co

Yeah and the cert is issued by Lets Encrypt, so Sushubh can probably just get a new free one and add the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses too. But maybe it does not make sense to add raw address as host might change it later? Unless it's a purchased static IP or something.

Please do not tell me about policies, its nowhere mention FTP connection is chargeable. They can put a torrent cache in their network & promote piracy but block FTP connections ?

If its malpractice is malpractice, today FTP, and tomorrow SMTP, how long we as customer suffer ?

Apart from ACT i don't have any other option, as Airtel have 512kbps upload speed, and i moved to ACT because of their upload speed so that i can upload files to work server. gigabits of binary files.

They have not intimated me before blocking my ports.

The OP hasn't come back to clarify what he meant. ACT indeed does double NAT and it affects HOSTING a FTP server from your connection. Not connecting to one. Big difference.

If you really need to host an FTP server, do it on a non standard port and have it open from ACT - ACT will give you a free private static IP with a bunch of ports open (usually its all, but they're limiting it now). Or, just pay up for a static and move on? I don't see how net neutrality is in question. It's not like they're limiting FTP connectivity to their favorite server or something.

IPv4 shortage is a big problem for ISPs like ACT who entered the game late, unlike BSNL and Airtel who are sitting in a pool of addresses.

Sorry, I had to quote on you on this one but, which ISPs DON'T block outgoing SMTP? Email spam is a real problem, and due to the lack of IPv4 addresses, ISPs are trying to block spammers misusing their IPs. I don't know the extent of such limitation here in India, but it's generally a big problem everywhere else.

Here is an answer for you. Take them to consumer court. And good luck. I can only suggest you alternatives. I cannot fix your problem with your ISP. Part about commercial activities on home connection is important for taking them to courts. That's why I said, check their policies.
