OnePlus 5

 
Any OnePlus 5 user here and using two SIMs where one is Jio? If yes, can you check what happens if you set the non-Jio SIM as default for data? Apparently Jio looses network when you do that. And there is no separate networking settings for both SIMs but a global option.
 
^^^ That happens on my Moto Z Play as well. If non-JIO sim is set for data, JIO sim is not in network.
 
Weird. Miui should have data settings for both Sims. Dad's phone has it I believe.
 
@SVK, @dantool and @Nishant, OnePlus 5 indeed has no signal on jio sim when data connection is set to other sim and so is the case with every dual sim 4G devices as most(maybe all) devices only support one 4G and one 3G/2G connection even if it says both slot supports 4G which simply means it can swap the 4G and 2G/3G connection without physically swapping the sim so setting one connection to 4G makes the other sim only capable of supporting 2G/3G which happens during changing sim which handles the data(4G capability is given to data preferred sim) which leaves the other(JIO) sim on 2G/3G network and as jio has no 2g or 3g coverage it simply fails to connect to any network.
 
as of now none of the dual sim phones support 4g on both sims at the same time. also they won't allow non data sim to connect to 4g even if data sim is currently not connected to 4g
