How do we Measure speed of Dataone

i have 1 MBPS Dataone . I want to measure the spped of my connection Please help

well u should get download speed of 128 KBpsand u can use softwares such as dumeter to see ur usage

There are lots of sites to check ur speed.
http://indiaspeed.mfhosting.com/ is one of the good ones for Indian conditions.
http://us.mcafee.com/root/speedometer/default.asp is a popular one though.

it also must be having a relationship with the location of the ISP ( my guess ).

A simple graphical measurement can be got by loggin in at:
http://www.zdnetindia.com/reviews/isp/rateisp/popspeed.html

A more exhaustive measurement can be obtained by loggin in at:
http://test.tampabay.rr.com/
and checking the actual time it takes to download some MB at the 'ftp' site.

The first method is quick and you can bookmark it for easy daily check.
