How to activate Reliance Jio SIM?

I got activated Jio SIM but calls are not going and net is not connecting.
Do I need to do anything to use data, voice services?
 
You need to complete tele-verification. Dial 1977, enter last 4 digits of Aadhar and your birth year. Your SIM will be activated within 10 mins.

could it be bad connectivity at my place or settings are wrong?
 
voice (data on Jio )is working means heavy congestion at your place. Check apn should be "jionet".

Seriously waiting for this free shit to get over and change to cheap data. Jio network is very good just overloaded.
Check speed at 6-8am when pron leechers are sleeping.
 
This misery doesn't end so easily. Post march they are gonna come with some new low cost offer (100Rs / PM for the data) and keep the 1GB/day unlimited data until September. The wait is long.
 

I thought it was till June? Since when did they decided to extend till September?

What should be Authentication type and bearer in APN settings?
 
You need to call 1977 to activate voice, data services.
If you are not able to make calls, check APN.
