Hey guys, I have been into this game "Warface" for a while now but due to a recent change in publishers and strict ping limits I am unable to play PVP anymore. If you guys could ping 2 servers for me and post your results, It'll help me decide which broadband connection to get. Thanks in advance! These are the servers to ping:

eu-comm.wf.my.com
us-comm.wf.my.com

Please post your results. Thanks!

Can no one help me with this? 🙁

Tried via Spectranet in Office.

eu-comm.wf.my.com - 150-160ms
us-comm.wf.my.com - 270-280ms

Here are the results from my Airtel connection:

Ping statistics for 188.42.141.244: (eu-comm.wf.my.com)
Packets: Sent = 35, Received = 35, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 394ms, Maximum = 398ms, Average = 395ms

Ping statistics for 66.242.15.199: (us-comm.wf.my.com)
Packets: Sent = 35, Received = 35, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 242ms, Maximum = 257ms, Average = 248ms

Thanks! Spectranet seems to do the job for the EU server, is their connection consistent?

Thanks for the help mate! Is airtel so bad? I am getting around 280ms to EU on my ANI connection and was hoping to switch to Airtel since I've heard some good things about them :/

Airtel's routing is honestly really pathetic to the EU. Mind you mine is an FTTH connection, regular DSL could have slightly higher pings

Trace complete.

From Singapore (hop 10) it went trans Pacific to California (hop 11) then onto Virgnia (hop 12) then across the Atlantic to the Netherlands (hop 13 ) hence the poor ping

Damn that is some poor routing. I might have to look into some other options since Spectranet is only available in IP ext. and Airtel is clearly not for playing games on either of the servers :/ Why do you think the regular DSL will have lower pings? They use different routing?

Errr... DSL would have higher pings. That is because airtel for stability (atleast when I had DSL) used Interleaved noise profile for better stability. That increases the ping times by a small amout (couple of ms).

Ah my bad. I used to use Airtel a couple of years ago but switched due to their FUP. What other ISP's do you think might be good for gaming in EU?

Any ISP that doesn't use airtel's Chennai to Singapore link. 😛 I don't do gaming, hence never bothered about the crappy pings from Airtel. They always have excellent reliability and with the FTTH now some decent speeds as well, thats all I need for my connection.

Excitel

eu-comm.wf.my.com - 135-140ms
us-comm.wf.my.com - 210-215ms

Hathway

eu-comm.wf.my.com - 280-300ms
us-comm.wf.my.com - 244-250ms

That's awesome! I was just thinking about getting excitel. But I've heard that their down times are crappy. Is it worth the risk? I know Hathway is crap since I've used it before

Well excitel's performance depends upon your LCO and for me starting 1-2 weeks were hell, but post that it has almost given 95-96% uptime which according to me is pretty great given their pricing and packages.

Hathway for me has worked wonders. Almost as stable as Airtel and almost 100% uptimes in the past 1.5 years.
