Premium numbers (for eg 1860 series) are charged on Airtel Rs. 99 top up

well you have to find out. They do have alternate no but is not listed. All these 1860 are virtually forwarded to some extension and they keep parallel no also ringing on same extension.
For eg even 56070 kind sms code also have some alternate mobile no to send sms to. However that would be very hard to find out coz of they lose a good amt of revenue if not using short sms code.
 
BTW Citibank in which I have account, earlier had landline type number (same number all over India, just add zone STD in front of number).
But now they also shifted to 1860 series, and it costs lot to make call and go through all IVR process, when called from Prepaid mobile.
 
2-3 weeks back when I tried dialling 022... number for Citibank, recorded message of number being changed, and dial new 1860 number was played. Call is not getting connected with 022 number. Not sure if now call is connecting.
