I have an ACT fibrenet connection and have tried to configure the supplied modem (Acton 300) for parental controls.
ACT customer support say the modem is configured correctly, but nothing is working.
They say I need to buy a high end router to do this.
Is anyone using a router that successfully blocks websites and controls device access times using MAC addresses?
I have found ACT support to be less than helpful on this issue.
The ACT connection supplies a dynamic IP address and does not allow 3rd party DNS servers, so Open DNS does not work, so assume that Norton Connectsafe does not work either.
