I'm on hutch-Karnataka prepaid! Free Hutch to Hutch Local SMS! Yup, thats how we communicate for free! Call charges 1.50/min if balance is above 200! 10 Family n frens no.s. @ 30p! Daily one re. rental.. Clarity Good, but coverage bad since on 1800Mhz! Still HAppy with it! Services are very fast, feature requests like GPRS handld in mins!

I think TRUMP f mtnl s best.Cheaper tariffs compared to other operators.No monthly rental for national roaming.On RCV f rs 175 u gt 55rs talktime&30 days validity.MTNL hai to sahi hai 🙂

Hmm...I didnt vote for any particular operator. Here is why:First the pros...MTNL - Best plans, best value for money, free roaming!Airtel - Nice plans and good networkReliance - excellent network, CDMA Advantage, Good plansOrange - OK Plans. Good networkNow the cons...MTNL - Bad networkAirtel - Bad CCReliance - Billing issuesOrange - Crappy CC and EXCESSIVELY HIGH Charges compared to other operatorsI am currently with Orange. The reason I shifted from MTNL to Orange is because I wanted a better network. But there are many trade offs in the process. But the worst part is that Orange has bad network near my place. So I constantly have problems with receiving / making calls. May be its just that there are too many Orange users in my area. Dunno. But atleast MTNL network didn't have so much trouble at my place...

No idea user here strange man idea is d best cheapest outgoing rates gd conectivity more of all new schemes.. make it best so my vote goes for idea

Good news for Tata Indicom users:

I met this guy who was a marketing executive of Tata Indicom while I was having Gol Gappe in the market, he said that Tata Indicom will be the first one to launch FREE SMS from Feb 2006

Thats a great news for the Tata walas eh? 😀

In this rumour market let me also give out one:"I met an Orange(Hutch) marketing executive he said that from Feb 2006 all outgoing calls and sms to any network will be Free Free Free....! " (*Conditions Apply) 😉 Live in reality friend, rumours pe mat jao, apni akal lagao!

heh. Free SMS on the local network (inside the State i.e.) should be no probz! 🙂 I am currently paying 1.5 bucks per SMS.
