Wireless Router for Excitel Broadband

A friend of mine got Excitel connection as well today. He is currently using my backup router. So he needs a new one. Any recommendations for around 2-2.5K. AC support would be nice to have.

I'll prefer TP-Link for it's end user bandwidth shaping feature. Netgear are usually more stable one however their support in India is non-existent.
D-Link is usually the cheaper option and jack of all trades.

i recommended a few models. but as usual he ignored my advice and told me that he would consult with another friend who works in microsoft and is into networking. social service karne ka zamana nahi raha.

TP-Link yes get the one with two antenna if you are looking for WiFi router. 300 MBps speed

Last time he bought a shitty D-Link even when I recommended a TP-Link model. Not sure why I even bothered.

I guess the D-Link he bought was recommended by his genius Microsoft employee too. This happens to me too, but I simply tell them to ask the person from whom they took suggestion before, and ignored mine. I don't care what they think :-/
