At the time, Yahoo said it was “aware of the claim,” but the company declined to say if it was legitimate and said that it was investigating the information.

This company deserves to die.

It happened in 2014. I guess I changed password last year (2015) for my Yahoo mail account. Should I worry or change password again?
Although my Yahoo mail contains no important information except lots of spam mail.

I was once a fan of Yahoo mail. (web based) And it was my primary address.

Ever since they allowed IMAP I switched to thunderbird.

And slowly slowly I realized death of Yahoo coming (even though their products were still nice)

And even though I still like yahoo webmail over gmail, I took practical decision and switched everything (official and important) from Yahoo to Gmail.

So in last 2 yrs I almost have migrated to Gmail except some unimportant things.

I dont expect Yahoo mail to die yet but even if it does - it wundt become crisis situation for me!

I think for the last 2 months login vie website I am getting frequent warning to change the password

This is how Yahoo password reset mail looked before the breach

That wud be death blow. I think Verizon may move out or halve the offer

I can not terminate Yahoo account. Using it from 15-17 yrs!

It was my primary account way before Gmail.

So many have that address with them so I can not terminate it.
