Airtel blocking OTP from Reliance Jio

Hello,
I Currently have 3 Sim cards with me.
2 Airtel Prepaid and 1 Vodafone Prepaid.
My Circle is Karnataka I am From Bangalore.

I am unable to receive OTP From JIO, for registering through MYJIo app For Welcome Offer On both Of my airtel numbers Tried Resend the OTP 5-10 Times on each airtel sim.
Did not get any sms.
Also Tried once on my vodafone number, i have received the OTP very happy now.

Is anyone else facing the same issue.
i have tweeted to jio also regarding the same, is there anything else i can do?

I never got any message from JIO on my airtel number. I had to put the SIM inside the phone to know if the SIM was activated or not.

Happened to me too, thought it was because of the stupid Jio app.

I never got activation SMS either! (alternate number given was of airtel)

Guy at Digital express kept telling me that its activated.

I kept telling him I have not received SMS yet! 😀

Then I inserted SIM to verify and it was activated.

PS: I cudnt put SIM earlier because SIM slot was used for airtel 3G network (which was also for 4G network)

After JIO activation - I moved Airtel to secondary SIM! 😀

reliance jio should start sending sms from another operator. hide their identity. just what they did to get nationwide spectrum rights to avoid paying a premium!

You can create JIO id after the number is activated. Using new JIO number

@amish the problem is jio number linked with jio link and if i insert that sim in another mobile im not getting any signal 😡

I dont man I had tele-verified and provided my Airtel number but this all before the Sep5. I did not face any problem infact my activation was done within 1 day
