My Airtel app has a lot of these offers. The app is pretty nice too. Especially if you have multiple Airtel connections in your home. Though I doubt this is new.
 
This offer's being going around for a month now I guess. I got a popup one day in my app but I couldn't click anywhere on it and had to force exit the app. Haven't seen it again since then.
