I finally closed my Reliance Broadband connection and got peace of mind. If anyone from RCOM reads this, I must have received around 10-15 calls from Reliance asking why I wanted to close this. The plans and service are very good- when they work. However, I have had to complain to Reliance a minimum of twice a month about the connectivity going down. Quite often it has been more like once a week and one hardly knows when the connection is going to be available. If you use internet for anything important, you will need to have at least one back-up which is fast enough to use for the important stuff. I have actually moved to a more expensive plan, from BSNL primarily because they are much more reliable. Reliance is cheaper, but ultimately, I ended up paying more in peace of mind. I am posting this on the forum so that it helps others..
