How to put Airtel Landline/Broadband connection in safe custody?

Anyone knows how put Airtel landline/broadband in safe custody. 😛

Yup. Call their customer care and ask them to. They will ask for the duration and will place the connection in safe custody within 30 minutes. All outstanding payments need to be cleared and the charge for safe custody is (iirc) ₹250 per service (so ₹500 for landline+broadband).

I was planning to get a jiofi2 device and use it for next 3 months at least till there offer exists.
But i dont want to terminate my airtel connection yet, neither i wish to pay for it for next 3 months.
So i was wondering if there is a way if i could keep the connection in safe cutody for 3 months and resume the services after 3 months when i want.

Just called 121, and the guy said charges will be 500 rs for first 3 months for both broadband and landline.
