I have had an Airtel connection for over a year now and initially used the provided D-Link DSL-2730U as both a router and modem. I am a gamer so I noticed that after some time, the latency to my router was becoming extremely high causing large ping spikes to upwards of 1000 ping. I then decided to get a router which is the DIR-600L. For some time, it was doing great until I realized that I was getting those same ping spikes.
At the moment, I am using this setup as my current one (DSL-2730U + DIR-600L). I want to buy a new ADSL2+ modem/router which is the TP-Link Archer D20 AC750. My question to all of you is: Will this modem/router work with my Airtel connection with no issues? I do not want to stray away from Airtel equipment if there will be any issue.
