will w8968 work as a router mode only on local cable internet rj45?

i am switching to cable internet from mtnl bcoz of their frequent disconnection and poor cs... i have a TP-Link w8968 modem router v3.... i just want to know will it work with the local cable internet connection rj45?

if yes can anyone pls provide me steps or any link from which i can configure it....

Yes it will. The first LAN port will become a WAN port once you switch to router mode.

thanks just configured and working fine 🙂

btw can u recommend me a router with usb which supports custom firmware like dd-wrt or open-wrt so that i can directly download torrent files to usb storage
