My current internet(zeonet wimax) is heavily throttled and after so much frustration I called my ISP to stop my subscription and he offered me another wimax service "railwire". I told him clearly i do not like throttling and he told me he is just distributor of railwire and everything will be controlled from gurgaon. Should i trust him. He is distributor so he would be using his router to provide further wimax connection and i have big doubt he will let me live without throttling my speed to death.

Anyone from Gurgoan can confirm that how good is railwire service? Downtime, throttling, capping, streaming etc
He told me whenever problem occur i can call directly to gurgaon care center.
I live in hisar.

Thanks

Edit : Can anyone give me Gurgaon railwire customer care no.?

@jason29 what speed you are getting with railwire while downloading directly in web browser?

@jason29 torrent and idm use multiple connection to download file so even if you are getting very bad surfing and streaming speed. you can still download stuff in up to 1MB/s speed with 3rd party down loader.

My browser download speed is 20KB-30KB but in IDM i can just use 32 connection and download with 512KB/s speed. Full bandwidth speed.

By downloading in browser you can see if railwire throttle speed or not

You mean 1.1MBps not 1.1mbps, right?

thank you seems awesome...
which plan you are using?
Is upload speed also 10mbps?
how many down times in a month?

Upload and Download speed is 10..downtime- few minutes in a month...Major downtime due to cable cut

Plan is 1099rs per month, 10 Mbps till 40GB and 1 Mbps moving on

ops one more question?
Is your ip static or dynamic?
If dynamic then does it change every time you connect or login?

You got your connection from local cable operator, yes?
Does he charge you extra for maintenance?
I hear so many review about people complaining that their local operator ask extra 200rs-300rs on govt. fixed price of plan.
