4G sims are available at Vodafone stores across Mumbai. Get your photo identity documents with originals for verification and they will give you 4G SIM for free. Follow the procedure in the SIM booklet and be activated and ready...... For 4G launch...... For god knows how many months wait. Lol.

I managed to change both my Vodafone old SIMs to 4G ones as luckily as the store CC was not overloaded. I also wanted to avoid mad rush when everyone and their dog runs to store for SIM swap.
 
Which store did you get those new SIMs from?

Do you have to show that you have 4G capable phone?
 
No but she did check in her system. I told her for 2nd number I will buy a 4G phone only if she gives me a 4G sim. And she obliged. 😀
