Upload Problems

I've been using Data one for some time now. Why does it take hours to upload even a small file ? Mail attachments and stuff.

In Dataone Download speed is 256 kbps whileUpload speed is 64 kbpsSo it will take four times more time to upload a file than to download a file of same size.

Coz this is an ADSL connction and upload speeds are quite lower than donwlaod speeds .Upload speeds are usually around 50kbps .....

Around 5KBps to 10KBps can be considered as good for a 32KBps connection.

i get almost equal in my MTNL line...around 25 kBps uploads 😀

airtel gives me 128kbps upload and 128 kbps download simultaneously.

I never paid much to my upload speed becoz the files I upload are generally 15 Kb to 150 Kb. Sometimes I uplad 8-12 files at the same time so they go up one after the other and so thats 1Mb and thats thru in 1-2 minutes max. I dunno what speed it is. Let me see properly nxt time. I use CuteFTP.
