Screen goes blank when making a call

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Solved it.
Proximity sensor was covered, screen was going like locked screen.

thought so. always get a screenguard that has holes for the major sensors.

The proper way the proximity sensor works is, it will switch off the screen when you stick your phone to your ears.

In his case, the screen was getting switched off as soon as he was placing the call. This happens when a screen protector with no cutouts for proximity sensor is installed, triggering the proximity sensor as soon as the call is placed.

Then you can't do call conference, disconnect call, use dialpad
