Uber announced that it will roll out its private carpooling service in Delhi, Ola launched 'Ola Share', a similar service for Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.
The move has been described by the two ride-hailing apps as a solution to dealing with Delhi government's odd-even number formula. Ola has introduced the concept of social groups on its app through which colleagues from a workplace, or friends from a college can come together to share rides with each other.
