Zipgo launches women-only shuttle services in Delhi-NCR - The Times of India

Bengaluru-based Zipgo is all set to launch a shuttle service exclusively for women in Delhi-NCR. The service will be an on demand transportation service where women can download the app from playstore or I tunes and register themselves. The app will help them identify the available shuttles, their slots and schedule.

The company has already done pilots in Dwarka and Noida and is planning to launch the full fleet across the NCR territory quite satisfied at the response during the test runs. "Safety is huge concern when it comes to the daily commute especially in the NCR area and we are trying to come up with a solution that is safe, convenient and affordable," said Jitender Sharma, Founder Zipgo.

- view seat availability and reserve a seat on a bus
- track the bus movement in real-time in the app

Seats can be reserved in 3 easy steps:
- Select the bus-stop you want to board the bus and the destination bus-stop
- View the timing, ETAs and seat availability for all the buses on that route
- Reserve a seat on a selected bus and get the boarding pass in the app

Once you have reserved a seat, you can track the bus movement in real-time. The ETAs are also updated in real-time.

Once you reach the boarding bus-stop, just hop on-board and show your boarding pass to the on-board ZipGo staff. Then, just sit-back, relax and enjoy the ride - as we take you comfortably to your destination.

This Service was recently launched in Pune acquiring existing private bus services MetroZip and CityZip. But now got mail that ZipGo would no longer support booking for these 2 services through their app. No idea what will happen to these 2 services.
