Unstable Connection.

Reliance
Switched to Broadband forum today as reliance was down in my area since 1 month.
However the connection seems very unstable.
These are the various values in my modem config:
Attenuation Down Stream 34
Attenuation Up Stream 23
SNR Margin Down Stream 6.2
SNR Margin Up Stream 12.0

Please let me know any other details if you need to identify the problem.

It should be above 10db to improve stability. 6.2db is on the edge of going "down". Ask your lineman to check line.

Also, how far you live from BSNL's exchange?
 
I connected telephone line directly to my modem without the splitter.
Now SNR Down stream is around 11-12
SNR Up stream is around 28.
Seems like splitter was causing the problem.
I will get it replaced.
