Paytm is the new ICICI Bank

So I had to send some money to @mhsabir. I decided to use Paytm wallet.

Tried website... The UI exists. But when you submit the form, you get a message to use the Paytm Wallet app.

I tried the official Paytm app. The UI exists. But when you submit the form, you get a message to use the Paytm Wallet app.

So basically. Paytm decided to separate the money transfer component to a separate app... Making our lives so much more fun.

Their website has only Internet banking which is not much useful.

I did the transactions through their app available in Google play store.

That could be the reason for @chromaniac being charged & you not...

Another friend faced same problem. had to give me money - I was OK with Paytm. He did not fancy downloading paytm wallet on his 2g slow connection with less data in hand and ended up drawing from ATM and giving me cash.

Yes. Working fine for me via regular app and mobile website.
