Reliance GSM in Dehradun

I moved to Dehradun couple of weeks ago, and with National MNP finally becoming a reality, I am thinking of porting my Idea prepaid connection to Reliance. I was wondering if anybody knew if Reliance GSM is reliable in the city, particularly the 2g speed.

Yes. 2G is fine and fast enough within the city and surrounding areas.

No 3G because Tata Docomo has shut down their network in Uttarakhand and Reliance doesn't have its own 3G.

Idea has largest 3G footprint in UPW/Uttarakhand.

Thanks for the info. Idea 2g is problematic in my area, frequent call drops. Hope, the same doesn't happen with Reliance

Get a prepaid sim and give the network a go before switching!
