My friend has a cable internet connection, but it goes down several times a week. His ISP said if he shifted to their Wi-Max plan, the down times would stop.(I kinda doubt that, but anyway)Right now, he gets great pings(30-60ms) on steam. The Wi-max tower is about a kilometer away from his house.His ISP won't give him a demo of the technology, so he's wondering what kinda pings would he get?I told him it depends from ISP to ISP, but still to clear any doubt...?
