Unreliable sales team and incompetent customer care team

I am not sure why did I opt for Spectranet again after having had the experience with their customer care team in August. I was out of Bangalore and had asked them to put the connection in safe custody mode. There were several emails on this and finally the communication stopped from their end. On returning back, I found that the connection was disconnected from their end. On calling customer care, they said they can't do anything now and took a new connection request from me. A sales person called and convinced me that the new connection would be fine. I provided the documents and even made the payment for 3 months in advance. And now it's been 6 days and no connection still.
The customer care team talks like a broken record that their records show that the connection is cancelled (of course referring to the old data) and the sales person says that the technicians will call me for activation.
Oh and one more thing - there is no escalation path in this company..you have to keep dealing with the same people who got your request but have no interest in solving a customer issue. They keep on repeating the same reply without understanding the problem and asking their superiors on how to resolve it. The call center directs you to the email support and the email support directs you to the call center.

So now I am wondering where did my payment made for the new connection disappear? What kind of software is Spectranet using for managing customer data? Whatever it is, now I seem to have lost my money and along with it the trust in Spectranet.
I must say that I had an airtel connection before Spectranet and had no such issues. This incident seems to prove that it's better to go with big names than newcomers, which is a pity because that would encourage monopoly.

Issue resolved..not satisfactorily but nonetheless, finally I can close this stressful chapter. Thanks to the CEO Udit M. for intervening and looking into it personally. Speed of the internet connection is good, that I must mention.
