unable to upload on mIRC

this is bad...i want to serve on mirc and i'm unable to upload....whereas my friend who uses airtel DSL can serve easily.....any way to tackle this problem?
 
ur IRC is working on Sify? considering yourself lucky dude!
 
Mirc works for me too .Thats not a problem, even i was unable to upload but not on mirc but email attachments as small as 57KB 😱 but now everthing is fine 🙂
 
do u get the error on the same person or other people alsoi get this error sometime when it is trying to resume the filejust sending to other people if it happens than try changing the preference in connect > options > advanced here untick use random portsand try

You need to enable your DCC outgoing port for that. Add that entry to your firewall and then only you can Upload from Mirc.

or do what i do. Disable firewall, then upload and then enable firewall again.
Although I will not recommend that...tooo risky !!!!

Just logged into that site.. (had logged in with the nick Ambulance), nobody in there except for the bot or maybe the op X.. am trying for a response and do hope I get the same 🙁
 
Oh pupudada you are talking about irc://irc.opera.com/india ???It used to be busy in olden days but then it just got sidetracked. X is just a bot. I will start logging into that room if you all will start coming to it again. Sushubh and me are the ops of that room. If you start coming then sushubh also will log into that room, earlier we used to stay there all the time.
 
Best if we can create a group who log in at specified time.. that is the only way to make the channel popular 🙂
