Unable to recharge for stretch pack

I was using a stretch pack for tata docomo for rs 156/- which had 500mb 3g data for 60 days. When i tried recharging it today got a message with pack not applicable for number. Any suggestions or alternatives.
 
Tata has the most weird recharge system I've ever come across. Some packs are only applicable to certain numbers, others are one time offers for new numbers, recharges go through even for packs no longer valid but present on the website, resulting in some other random pack getting activated. Too convoluted.
 
I had took 2 number for me and wife. After 12-18 months I was not able to do rechardge of Rs 24 which gave half call rates, but was able to do for my wife's number. When I called CC, they informed my number is not eligible for recharge, and asked me to get new number. I simply ported out 🙂
 
I had a chat with CC which lead to a mail to the appellate authority so far there has been no response.
 
After a week of several mail exchanges still the same old story your no. is not applicable for this recharge. I am not sure if i should complaint to pgportal regarding his issue, if i have valid case of a service being denied even though everyone else can use it.
 
Not really. They could simply pass it of as a special recharge applicable to certain numbers only.
 

Today got a call from tata docomo mentioning the "special" recharge was not applicable for my no. Now when i was trying to find another suitable pack noticed that the stretch pack validity was reduced to 54 days and then when i tried to recharge it worked. So apparently the entire CC and appellate dept. have no clue of what their organization is doing with the plans.
