trading of dish connection

hi friends i want an information regarding transfer of existing dish tv connection to a another home and new customer.my friend has a dish tv connection ,he is not using it now.so i am deciding to take it from him and install it in my home,so can i just recharge and use it or is there any process like giving address proof and amount for using it.

As far as I know you can just install and use, recharge online when needed... however it will need to be activated for which you will have to impersonate him on the phone
