Tata Indicom Broadband in your City

I take back what I said about decent plan. The old QuickPower 180 has been replaced by a new plan which basically doubles the price. Tata Indicom has plumbed new depths of crappiness.:wall:
 
place : DelhiPlan : qp 180 and nu 299Reviews : It's been a year I'd been using tata indicom, as its my secondary internet connection. I would say its not even worth the second. As the plans were good 180 hours for 1922 with night unlimited facility. Even these prices have doubled so Tata is simply becoming good for nothing. Regarding the uptime its merely 50%. This company runs just by the grace of god no technical staff, no customer support. My downtime in last quarter was around 40 days for totally down and 25 days for slow browsing which is still not being rectified. I was getting the speed of merely 10-12KBps on a 2048kbps connection. Don't expect much from TATA as their network design is shoddy and unlike a class A leading isp of india. There had been few occasion when they didn't had the place to keep their dslam 😀. After calling to their field engineer (when net got down) I was told that they don't have any place to keep their dslam so it would be indefinitely down. This happened 2 times in one year. 😀. Currently their OFC is down from 4 days and still not up. OFC down means lots of customers not up. Still no one to answer and no one knows its down. I can write a book against TATA INDICOM be it broadband or their mobile.

Subject:- Mr Praveen Nodal officer tata vsnl Highly unprofessional SHAMELESS LIAR person I have ever seen
With this I again want to bring to notice of all concerned senior officials of TATA
1.That I spoke to Mr Praveen who says that he is nodal officer north but unable to handle a single complaint of Rajouri Garden what to say of north and that he is habitual liar. I almost daily sending my complaints to mail address nodalofficer.north@tatacommunications.com and never recieved any failure notice but he straight away saying that he is not in receipt of my mails. His mail box should be scrutinised and he be asked for reason of telling lies.
2.That today on 8-8-8 i contacted him on mobile 9250008628 in evening around 6pm and apprised him of all the facts about my complaints which he should have known earlier by virtue of my previous mails. However he promised me to look into mater and call me after 10 minutes but he didnt coz he is big liar as usual.
3.ThatMy further attempts to reach him on same mobile number went in vain and he never replied. This shold be taken up seriously coz such persons are blot in name of TATA VSNL and can damage the image of company in real public.
4. That my complaint is still pending and concerned are pinging ball from arena of technical to customer to local faults.
5. That it is highly shameful on part of such reputed company to act in this manner.
6.That every person is putting different opinion for the cause of complaint and this very complaint of repeated disconnections is still pending.
7. that officials of TATA are stubborn and arrogant enough that depite my daily request to call me after 5ppm is not acceded to and always they are calling me before. Like today also I received a call from66082739 at 11 00 Am.
8.That it is highly ridiculous that TATA officials are besides habitual liars are becoming shameless and have no concern about reputation of company.
9. That such idiotic and arrogant behaviour of such officials should be taked seriously and they shud be instructed to work ion professional manner.

10. That such rubbish, idiotic, moron and damaging behaviour can cause customer to lose temper, raise ones blood presusure which is againt the normal functioning of any good customer care centre.
11. That I should be given explanantion why TATA officials are behaving is such rubbish, idiotic manner.
12. That despite my repaeted complaints I have not been given feed back about erring official causing delay in rectifying my complaints.
13. That such officials as above are a black blot in name of comapany, are shameless with idiotic behaviour should be sent to training so that later they can prove beneficial to comapny.
14. As I am always sending a copy of alll mails to appellate authority, its amazing that they are alos not doing anything for the reason best known to them.
15. Appelatte authority should atleast give me an reply as why they are protecting TATA officials and if any they are having some vseted interets in them coz I have not recieved any satisfacory reply from them. Again to emphasisi that customer care section of TATA send me only prdetermined mail which are only reassuring and nothing has been done so far.
16. Erring officials should resign on moral, professional as well as ethical grounds immediately.
17. That I may kindly be given mail address or mobile offiewr of highest official Of TATA so that there can be a hope that this complaint will be solved.
18. I need explanation that why one official Mr Kamal who visited my house and lied that problem is cause of password and nothing else. Later I got report that problem is coz of suapended connection following inadequate balance and despite renewal again it didnt work. The same version has been admiited by Ms Payal who assured me that after renewal connection will start working agian. She also is one of habitual liar and has reached to a state of no return where she can stop lying.
19. that its is high time that TATA shuold stop befooling customers.
20. Copy is being sent to owner in chief Mr Rattan TATA to apprise him of fact how his company and his so called worhty officials are working.

@ Dr Anil Thakur what a letter. I can understand your frustrations. as far as Mr Praveen Nodal officer is concerned he may not be techinically qualifies althought he says. But he manages thing nicely. Have been in touch with him many times and he helped me to get my problems rectified. i donn't understand where u got that telephone number of his
 
@member/dranilkthakur/Welcome to broadbandforum.coTataIndicom was erstwhile VSNL ( Overseas Communication Service GOI ).Better to have an alternate ISP and get rid of the ISP not responding to complaints.As a professional, your time is more valuable, than chasing CC staff !Luckily we have a choice now. I think in Delhi MTNL/Airtel ISP's BB may be available. for your area. When you pay in advance and for a long period like one or two years, you are stuck with a bad service.Para two : by the way what is the problem ? Mention modem type used.Shri Ajoy Eric Lal as a Tataindicom User for a year , even appeared on IBNCNNand finally TataIndicom declined service to him, and paid some compensation.See "sticky" post in this forum !. Do you have the time ?
 
Can anyone provide my the tariff and review for Bangalore zone. I believe if u take a tata connection then u get a HP printer free 😛 My budget is around 1k per month and am looking for a unlimited package(with good speed ofcourse).

I recently got a Tata wimax and the experience is no less then being in hell.
Starting with broken connections from day one, to being without internet for days, fanatic phone calls, parallel internet connection from another internet service provider since I could not count on Tata. These people have inferior/buggy technology, and very de-moralized team.

My Internet connectivity is down once a day for some time ranging from 30 min to 3 hrs .. and twice a week i find myself raising complaints.

My latest issue is I can not send emails ( 80% of the time) with larger contents (say about 100 lines of text), or with attached of 50kb, and FTP also does not work! I raised this issue with tata on uesday, 24, March, 2009 5:30 PM and till date i.e. 03 Apr 2009 this has not been resolved.

I just wanted to know how i can sue them for the mental agony and lose.

btw, they even did not give me the free printer on 4 months advance rental for internet.. its going be 2 months since i got the connection. And yes offers also says free PC secure.. its only for 30 days .. as good as a 30 free trial from almost all popular software vendors.

I thing the sarkari service (MTNL) would be far better. Now I have a fight ahead for a refund of my money.

I am planning to subscribe TATA indicom Broadband, so I need your valuable comments, suggestion.Last year I was using BSNL (very high latency/ ping & they can’t do anything about it) so I disconnected my BSNLMy primary concern is latency/ping not speed.Sorry for my bad English.
