Suggestions for cheapo vertical mouse?

Anker Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse

I can ship you mine. Anker is probably the only recognized brand available in India.

Thanks 🙂 how much will that cost?

I'm actually thinking of buying a cheap 500rs one to see if vertical mouse actually works for me or not. Bought redragon mechanical keyboard without research and I absolutely hate the sound it makes

I paid Rs. 1039 after all discounts 😛 Used it for 2 days and got tired and switched back to Logitech.
You take it for Rs. 1000 and we can split the shipping which itself is a hassle these days... First Flight is charging 120 for simple envelops. Taking auto to Post Office ends up costing me 80 bucks 😛 Should still be under Rs. 200 I hope. 😛
Flipkart pricing for this model is stupid right now (Rs. 2749). Amazon has it for Rs. 3199. I got it when it was priced at Rs. 1299 somehow. Rs. 1000 seems reasonable 😛
Ping me on Telegram if you want it! I have kept it in a ziplock as backup. Logitech tends to develop double click problem and getting them replaced under warranty takes a few days so I have to keep a backup mouse at all time. If you take this, I would get a regular Logitech. 😛

As for mechanicals... I have been using TVS Gold for a few years now and it has been wonderful. Before I got this, I was replacing keyboards every couple of months because they just became nuisance to use due to wear and tear. TVS Gold feels great even today. I just clean it with an air blower every couple of weeks. You would eventually get used to the noise. The joy of typing on a mechanical keyboard is just great 😀

and mechanical keyboard is fine, just didnt expect such noise. my previous keyboard was sort of live-tech hybrid-mechanical one. It has raised membrane keys but super quiet

At the time TVS Gold was available online for around 2100. My hardware guy got me a unit for 1900 bucks iirc. So got it through him. No longer available online? Any local hardware store guy should be able to get one for you with advance payment I assume. Or maybe not.

as for the vertical mouse... i had two issues with it. first one was that since the buttons are vertical, it is sort of hardware to press the wheel button for stuff like closing tabs. with regular mouse there is the bottom which provides ample support. on vertical mouse, i found it harder and it was annoying.

the second issue was stupid. since it is taller... when switching between keyboard and the mouse with my right hand... i ended up hitting the mouse from the left resulting in it falling down. it happened way too often in the first couple of hours itself. taller design means you have to lift your right hand a bit more to switch between keyboard and mouse. you would probably notice it within first few minutes of using the mouse.

both of these issues would probably not exist after a few days of using it. i already had received the delivery of the logitech mouse so i did not wait and just switched after 2-3 days.

guy at CTC quoted me 2.5k and it will take one day. I said no thanks. emailed TVS customer care. will see how they'll respond

i guess it costs 2.5K these days. mechanical keyboards are not much in demand so companies making them charge a premium for them 🙁

I remember seeing fresh stock of TVS Gold Keyboards at my relative's electronics warehouse stashed along with piles of BBNL modems couple of days ago. Can ask him if he still has stock if you need. I maybe able to get for better price than rest (No promises though).
