STAR is Team India title sponsors after Sahara is disqualified

The BCCI has given unprecedented freedom to STAR India Pvt. Ltd. to use different channel logos on the jersey of the Indian cricket teams, starting with the tour to New Zealand next month.

No previous national team’s jersey sponsor – not even the most loyal and long-standing Sahara India – ever received this kind of liberty, to change logos a “pre-defined number of times” during the three-year and three-month contract period that ends in March 2017. The logos are displayed on players’ chest and one arm.

Another possibility is that the Indian teams’ matches could also beamed live on STAR Plus or Life OK, the group’s other channels, besides its re-branded sports channels, disclosed STAR India chief operating officer Sanjay Gupta.

Wait, so they have 4 sports channels and the matches could be telecast on the 5th or the 6th one - Star Plus / Life Ok?
 
Its good, we don't need to subscribe Sports channel anymore 😀

lol. Cant trust these guys - DD apart - they might telecast a 7 ODI series in 7 different channels if allowed.
 
No problem with that unless they (STAR) also broadcast matches on Star Sports channels as well.
We could even see Matches been broadcast in multiple audio language like Marathi on Star Pravah, Bengali on Star Jalsa, or Tamil on Star Vijay, something which Sony tried by using their Bengali channel Sony Aath to broadcast matches in Bengali Audio.
