Sites do not work

BSNL Dataone
Hello,One of my friend hosted some sites on server which has IP address 202.157.180.222 . but I can not open all sites, when I am using Dataone. What may be the reason?When I use Remote Desktop of one server located in USA I can open those sites.Is this problem of BSNL or the server provider ?Regards
 
I'm also facing this problem with dataone. However, it works with another ISP.
 
I think this is a DNS problem with BSNL...Try adding additional DNS servers to your TCPIP setup...I use the following additional 2 from open-rsc.org :213.196.2.97199.166.29.3
 
dont even the IPs work? Try using these IPs instead of the domain name 202.157.180.251 202.157.180.222. They should work. If they still dont work then either BSNL is blocking them or they have some misconfiguration...
 

but thats another problem... you need working DNS to figure out the IPs from the names 🙂 unless you want to telephone your friends abroad and pay for a ISD call to ask them! hehe
 
vishal, you didnt get me. The reason why I gave the IPs was that if the sites are still inaccessible i.e. despite using the IPs then BSNL is blocking those websites....
 
ya i know what u meant... but thats for 2 sites, what about other sites i want to visit? if it doesnt work, can i call you for the IPs? hehe
