Here is my review for the Phone Samsung Galaxy R

Display:Compared it to the S Plus while buying and there wasnt much difference between them.

Opening of different apps,streaming of 1080p videos is seamless.No Problems.Audio is good,the sound is very clear.

Connecting to Internet via wifi 2g and 3g was pretty easy no problems.

Camera is good,dont expect the 8mp quality of s2.

The dual core processor and 1gb ram is awesome hardly any lag time while streaming videos playing games etc.Played few HD games and there was no problem.

Sometimes there is a problem with the accelerometer.I had it for once i switched off the fone re clibrated the accelerometer and has been fine since.

it will get ICS update.so its better than the S-Plus

Battery is better than my S2.I get through a day easily with medium to heavy use.

Hasnt tried rooting it by the way.Will try.But afraid it may void the warranty.
 
What about the build quality, abhishek mentioned that its not upto the flagship of Galaxy..I 've read somewhere that some of games/apps developed for S2 might not run properly.Will it get the ICS update?Sorry to many questions but i found only you with the device so asking everything 🙂
 
Build quality is ok.Not the metallic body finish of HTC but its ok.Whatever games i have tried on my fone they all have run well.Havent found an issue.If you want any particular game tell me i will try running it.Yea as i mentioned it will get ICS update.Thats surely mentioned on samsung website.
 
You own S2 still get another? man! And whats the price in Kolkata?
 
i owned a s also previously which i lost so got the R.Gave S2 to someone else.around 22.5k in Kolkata.BTW u will have to do some mehenat to search and get this fone.Most dealers will try to sell you the S Plus.
