Amazon goods worth Rs 18L stolen - The Times of India

A truck loaded with goods from Amazon was allegedly robbed late on Sunday night few kilometers ahead of a warehouse in Alwar. The truck, carrying domestic goods such as electronics, mobile phones and clothing worth Rs 18 lakhs, was headed towards Delhi from the warehouse in Tawdu, when four men flashed pistols and stopped the truck on the road a couple of kilometers away. The truck (DL 1L K 8884) had left the warehouse around 11pm on Sunday, police said.

The men signaled the driver Manish Chand to get off the truck and sit in the Bolero car they had arrived in. While two of the robbers drove the car, the other two hijacked the truck and drove to an isolated location. The robbers drove the truck away and returned without it after a couple of hours. The four men then took the Bolero to an isolated spot in Tijara village, where they tied and blindfolded Chand and dumped him in a field.
