Hello IBF,

I just got a Jio PostPaid connection and here are the key points.

1) There is no paper-bill as of now and you will have to opt-in for the electronic bill.

2) Credit limit can be increased online after paying the amount. (Like you want to increase 1000 so you can just recharge on MyJio/Jio.com)

3) Migration was quick (eKYC) and it's good to see that they have launched PostPaid on PAN India basis. (I hope they do the same with JioFibre)

4) Data rollover is not there. 🙁

5) We can opt-in for PrePaid plans and they will work irrespective of the billing date.

6) I have not tried Jio Auto Pay but I hope it's going to be okay.

Overall Score: 6.5/10

I'm up for any questions regarding Jio Postpaid.

So one recharging the prepaid pack postpaid rental won’t apply?
Also credit limit is nothing but amount paid upfront so kind of security deposit only.
False advertisements from jio... true reliance colours.

Pre on Postpaid is like an addon. Like you have subscribed for 199 postpaid plan which gives you 25GB of data -- now the paid will work as per the billing cycle and you will get the bill every month.
Now if you activate Pre On Post -- Suppose you subscribed 2gb/day - 91 days.. Now you'll get 2GB/ day for 91 days and 25GB (prepaid) for the month, JUST LIKE BILLING MONTH.

What are Pre-on-Post Plans | Reliance Jio FAQs

"Pre-on-Post is a recharge facility from Jio that allows Postpaid users to get the benefits of a prepaid recharges on their Postpaid numbers. These recharges will work irrespective of the bill cycle, giving the full benefit (and not pro-rated)."

"As a Postpaid customer, if you want the convenience of a prepaid recharge and do not want to wait till the end of your bill cycle period to renew the data add-on benefits, Pre-on-Post recharges are the perfect choice."

My understanding is that the base plan data of 25Gb needs to be used first before prepaid daily data limit gets used. So if I activate the pre on post plan in the middle of billing cycle since 25Gb was used up and if the post paid data limit renews after 15 days will I loose the remaining days of pre on post until I use up the 15 days ? Does anyone know. I don’t seem to be able to find the answer from Jio care.
