reliance jio is a joke

I bought reliance phone 10 days back and Its really bad. Now, I bought the phone with sim and it isnt working. I asked the dealer and he said televerification didnt happen. I gave phone number of my father in law. My father in law said no phone came for televerification. Jio guys said they called and he didnt pick. I took phone from father in law and I kept it for full one day. No televerification call and they again are saying we called you didnt pick.

Now, I told them can I verify it myself? They said no. I contacted reliance jio support and they said they cannot do anything because you bought sim 10 days back. They can lodge complaint with in 5 days of sim purchase. Now, This matter is between shopkeeper and me

I called them today and I cannot connect from last 1 hour.

I am not impressed by their customer support. Is there any other solution?

@Ouch I heard they are launching tomorrow. I am not sure. But I wonder how will they handle whole process after public launch.

The latest I heard is Jio is available on all 4G phones.

yeah thats true. But , reliance stores are only giving it to samsung mobiles. Atleast in my city. I saw huge rush outside of reliance stores. The store guys were totally mad today . I visited their store 11 pm today and quickly returned home after seeing 70-80 people in the queue. The scenerio remained same till 8 in the night.

just like the launch of rcom many many years ago, there would be a massive rush initially. and things would settle down after a few days/weeks. if you want to be an early bird user, you have to bear the brunt of the initial glitches.

Reliance Jio was the solution India was looking for, a country where 4Mbps speed is a big deal. But that didn't last. Nowadays the speed is down. It didn't take long for Jio's fabled speed to drop from 50Mbps to a crawl of 6-10Mbps
